The service here is wonderful. Melinda thank you so much for your kindness. I don't have pets but apparently this is also a pet friendly restaurant. That's nice for those looking for options. I haven't tried the breakfast here but will come back someday and update!
One of the first new cafés in the downtown Davis area this place has been there for a while with an even more expanded menu and attached to a hotel that's on the corner now. The space is a bit more tidy and streamlined. The menu is even more expanded, which is great as I didn't realize my favorite Thai noodle salad is still on the menu (the only thing i used to order over and over). You come in order at the counter and get a number and take it to your table. There are plenty of servers coming by to check on whether you need anything or water which was nice, I happened to be here for a breakfast, and it was very hard to decide what to get so many things a great-I got a very basic breakfast, but everything was done just right.
Food is always good Service is reliable and limited to counter, but they take your order and are always friendly. The ambiance is chill. I always stop here when in davis. It's like visiting an old friend. Good food and relaxed spot. I usually go with Bene or French toast and never disappoints.

The ingredients were all fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed a cup of latte, which was equally satisfying. *One thing to note is that there's always a queue at the order counter. You'll need to line up to place your order and make payment first. Afterward, the staff will assign you a number, and your food will be delivered to your table. If you're dining with someone else, it's a good idea to have one person order the food while the other finds a table in the restaurant.
